More Ignorance on the FairTax

Bruce Bartlett is busy attacking the FairTax again.  We will, of course, take a significant portion of today’s show clearing up the ignorance that Bartlett shows on the issue.  It’s a shame that he doesn’t understand the FairTax; he really is a brilliant man.

 

Here’s another ignorant column on the FairTax.  Read the book before you try to comment, people!

 

How pathetic is this?  This woman wants a Canadian husband so that she can have the Canadian government pay for her health care.  What she will find out is that the cancer will kill her long before she actually gets treatment in Canada, due to their waiting lists.

 

Ann Coulter says that if women were denied the right to vote again, there would never be another Democrat President.  I have much better ideas on who to deny voting access to.

 

Hillary won the fundraising battle in the last quarter, raising the most money for both the primary and general election funds and gaining a 33-point lead in the polls that includes a majority of likely Democrat voters.  This, as Democrat candidates out-raise Republicans by a 2-to-1 margin.  More proof that Hillary will be the next President.

 

Unfortunately for Hillary, her “Baby Bond” idea is not popular with Americans.  A Rasmussen poll shows that by a 2-to-1 margin, Americans oppose the idea.  Minorities and young people are more likely to support it.  I’ll explain why on the show today.

 

Barack Obama wants the world to eliminate nuclear weapons.  After all, you can’t hug with nuclear arms…or in government schools in his state.

 

Also in government schools in Illinois and across the country, Christmas is being removed because of Muslims.  The Muslims are allowed to pray during Ramadan, however.  Some government school districts are even giving students the day off for the last day of Ramadan.

 

The House yesterday voted yesterday on a resolution to commend Muslims during Ramadan.  It passed unanimously.  Apparently nobody was willing to stand up to CAIR.

                                                                

More proof that global warming is being made up:  weather stations are put in places where they are guaranteed to record higher temperatures, such as on the face of a rock cliff.

 

Democrats are proposing a new tax to pay for the war in Iraq, saying that it is “unfair” to make future generations pay for it.  I think it’s unfair to make future generations pay for Social Security, so why don’t we just eliminate that?

 

Your tax dollars at work:  Federal employees wasted $146 million of our tax dollars in a single year by flying first class tickets when they were supposed to be flying coach.

 

Scientists have documented some of the atrocities of the barbaric cultures ended by western civilization (known by the left as “cultural imperialism”).  The Incas fattened up children for a year before sacrificing them by drugging them and letting them die from exposure.  But these were the “noble” cultures that westerners invaded through their evil imperialist intrusions.

 

Two groups of secessionists are meeting in Chattanooga this week to discuss the idea of states splitting from the Union.  There is a liberal group that wants Vermont to secede, and a conservative group that wants southern states to be able to secede.  The problem, of course, is the fact that the federal government has become too overbearing.

 

Whoopi Goldberg suggested that she should have a threesome with Nancy Pelosi and her husband.  Can you think of anything more disturbing than that?
