President: John McCain/Sarah Palin. I know John McCain is far from perfect, and he's definitely not a true conservative. But looking at the alternatives, there really is no choice. Bob Barr has run a terrible campaign, and he (along with the rest of the Libertarian Party) refuse to acknowledge the threat to the United States from Islamic Terrorists. Barack Obama is a socialist who not only wants to "spread the wealth," raise taxes, create huge new federal entitlement programs, and give vast amounts of power to labor unions, but also does not acknowledge the threat to the United States from Islamic Terrorism. He wants to talk to Iran and North Korea without preconditions, thus opening the door for both to become nuclear powers, invade an already-nuclear Pakistan, and withdraw troops from Iraq whether the job is done or not. Throw in the potential for bringing back the Fairness Doctrine, thus killing the alternative media, his insistence to push the "global warming" agenda rather than having a real energy policy, and the far-left judges that he would appoint to the bench, and it is clear that Barack Obama would be the most dangerous President for the United States' national security and economic future, and for our personal liberties. Plus, Sarah Palin actually is a conservative with some real libertarian sensibilities. Putting her second in command would set her up nicely to succeed McCain in four years.
Senate: Saxby Chambliss. With the polls currently looking like this race would be the difference between the Democrats having 60 votes in the Senate or not, you have to go with the guy who won't be a liberal footstool for Reid, Pelosi, and Obama to step on en route to ramming their far-left agenda through the Senate. Again, Saxby is not perfect, but he will oppose the Democrats' agenda, and he is the sponsor of the FairTax Act in the Senate. Libertarian Allen Buckley is not a supporter of the FairTax, and his "energy policy" is to use the tax code to pick "green" winners and losers in the market. For the sake of stopping the Democrats and their far left agenda, Saxby Chambliss is the best choice for United States Senate.
Congress: Rick Goddard. Goddard is a true ideological conservative, and the most Reagan-esque Republican candidate I've seen in quite a while. Republicans like Goddard are the solution to the Republican Party's problems. Republicans are losers when they try to play Democrat-lite or beat he Democrats at their own game. It won't happen. They have to get back to their limited government roots. Rick Goddard would be a step in the right direction. Plus, remember that Jim Marshall would be a vote for Nancy Pelosi.
Public Service Commissioners: Libertarians John H. Monds and Brandon Givens. I have to vote for a Libertarian somewhere, and here's my chance. I just don't think PSC is very important in the grand scheme of things. Give the Libertarians a shot.
State House of Representatives, District 147: Buddy Harden. I just can't bring myself to vote for any Democrat for any office this year. Plus, Harden is a tax cutter. We'll need state tax relief after the feds raise taxes.
Houston County Superior Court: George Nunn. He's had a long and distinguished career. I see no reason to boot him from office for vague alleged "improprieties" that his opponent, Bonnie Michelle Smith, claims exist. I don't think there was any improper behavior that justifies booting Nunn from office.
Houston County School Board: Abstain. It's not that I have anything against the candidates; it's just a protest non-vote against the government education monopoly. No school board candidate is going to eliminate the government's role in education.
Constitutional Amendment 1: No. This is just a way for the state to use the tax code to prevent people from developing forest land. I don't like the state using the premise of "tax cuts" to "encourage" people to behave like it wants, especially when it comes at a loss to local governments, who would ultimately lose the most from this amendment.
Constitutional Amendment 2: Not only "NO," but "HELL NO." It's bad enough giving the government authority and money to "educate" children, but to extend to the government school systems the ability to use money on something other than education is a foolish mistake.
Constitutional Amendment 3: Yes. This is a way to develop infrastructure in rural areas and protecting local taxpayers from having to pay for something they won't use. I like the protection for local taxpayers, and this has been used very successfully in other states, especially Florida.
Early Warning System Referendum: Yes. Let's face it; the people of Houston County need some kind of system to warn them in the case of severe weather. While there is not a definite outlined plan yet, authorizing the money (which is a relatively small amount when considering the benefit that would be provided) would give the County the opportunity to figure out what would be the best system to protect the entire County, and implement it.

One day these endorsements will be questioned, and I am like the GOP when I say it will lead to scandal on the left-wing illuminati.
WE HAVE MORE TO DO:
Democrat Jim Martin is in a runoff against Bush Republican Saxby Chambliss for the Senate seat from Georgia. Bush's Saxby Chambliss voted against spending a few measly dollars to provide health care coverage for Georgia, and Americas needy children. But he supported wasting hundreds of billions of your dollars, and the life BLOOD of Americas finest on an unnecessary war in Iraq.
At a time when 47 million of you have no health insurance coverage, and over 100 million of you with insurance are just one major illness away from complete financial destruction. Bush and Saxby Chambliss voted to make the heart break of bankruptcy relief even harder for all of you to use.
You see, Bush and Saxby Chambliss, and his family don't have to worry about their health care coverage. They have the finest health care coverage your tax money can buy for them. Courtesy of you. The American Tax payer. In fact, no one but the super rich can afford the health care coverage you the tax payer provide for Saxby Chambliss, and his family for FREE! with your tax dollars.
He supposedly works for you. But he doesn't think you and your family should have access to the type of taxpayer supported FREE health care that you provide for him, and his loved ones for FREE!. Doesn't that just make you BURRING MAD!
Vote for JIM MARTIN for US senator from Georgia. Vote for JIM Martin who will be on your side. Vote for JIM MARTIN who will work with President Obama and a majority congress for you. Vote for JIM MARTIN most of all for your-self, your family's, friends, and loved ones. Vote for JIM MARTIN for a better America, and a better World.
Don't let Saxby Chambliss make a chump out of you by tricking you into voting against your own best interest. Saxby chambliss is NOT! on your side. He's not one of you. He is on George Bush's side. And we all know what a catastrophe the Bush Chambliss administration has been the past 8 years.
Contact all your family and friends and do every thing you can to see to it that JIM MARTIN and GEORGIANS! take that senate seat back for Georgia, and America. No matter where you live in America. This is important to you. President Obama will need all the help, and power you can give him to try and fix this catastrophic mess that the Corrupt Bush Chambliss administration has created.
As I said before you will have to vote in overwhelming numbers to overcome the Bush Chambliss "Let Them Eat Cake" vote fraud machine. Vote early if you can. Then help everyone you can get to the polls and vote for JIM MARTIN. You and your loved ones don't have to be Saxby Chambliss's victims anymore.
I know you will get it done. Just like you did for President Obama.
God bless all of you
jacksmith - WORKING CLASS... :-)
The left-wing illuminati lost to the conservatives, and now Saxby will stop the elitist from spending and socializing everything.
