RIP WFB

William F. Buckley, a hero and icon of the conservative movement, passed away yesterday.  Buckley was instrumental in turning the conservative movement from the ideas held by a minority of Americans squashed into submission by FDR and the New Deal into a "silent majority" that later gave us the Reagan and Gingrich revolutions.  For years, his rebel conservative journal, National Review, was the lone conservative voice in media.  Buckley ran National Review, for many years at a sizeable financial loss, to be the voice of conservatism.  He was truly a hero, an icon, and an inspiration for conservatives across the country.  He shall be deeply missed.
