Senate Passes Bailout

It really was panic, stoked by the mainstream media and those Congress-critters in Washington, that caused Wachovia to have to be bought out this week.  By the way, UBS is predicting a profit this quarter.

Rick Goddard is on the stump criticizing Jim Marshall for his vote for the bailout bill in the House, which is causing a back-and-forth in the media.

John McCain admits that he wishes that Gwen Ifill wasn't the moderator of tonight's debate, considering she's writing a pro-Obama book.  I don't think it matters what happens tonight; McCain lost all credibility with his vote for the bailout last night, and Obama is booming in the big swing states.  Obama is also being helped by voter fraud in Ohio, registering homeless people to vote with no proof of residency.  They are, of course, supporting Obama because he does his "thug thizzle."

Liberals in Colorado are working on an "educate the idiots" campaign to turn out more of their voters.  Wouldn't educating them hurt the liberal Democrats?

Here's a column about the community organizer groups that are largely responsible for the mortgage mess.

The bailout bill passed the Senate last night 74-25.  Both of our Senators from Georgia voted in favor of the pork-laden monstrosity, with Saxby playing the "necessary" card.  Our neighbors to the west, Alabama, had two 'no' votes on the bill, including Sen. Richard Shelby, who accused the Senate of panicking.  Before the vote yesterday, though, Harry Reid was trying to create a panic by claiming publicly that another very large insurance company was going out of business.  The bill now goes to the House, where it will probably pass.  By the way, the stock market is down today.

The left is in a tizzy because Sarah Palin didn't specify where she gets her news.  I think she was just being the smartest person in the room (something to expect tonight as well).

A tractor-trailer crash on I-75 turned into a barbecue early this morning.

The Dish Network now has the cure for insomnia:  The Obama Channel.

I was glad the GOP were against the bailout, because it reassures the citizens that it is not the right that will overspend, we'll give that credit to the left-wing illuminati.
