After-Show Notes

Chuck Shaheen is not going to get a break from City Council or anybody else as long as he continues to act like a tin-horn dictator and destroys all good will he might have otherwise earned.  He's been so successful at building good will that a recall effort will likely begin as soon as his first 180 days are over.

Apparently Rep. Sanford Bishop is a possible "no" on ObamaCare.  Hammer him with phone calls to try and turn him:  (202) 225-3631.  Rep. Jim Marshall may be considered a solid "no" vote, but hammer him too, just to make sure:  (202) 225-6531.

College students don't like college budgets being cut because they have an attitude of entitlement to education.  Education is nearly 60% of the state budget, so of course it will be cut.  Instead, these student "activists" want to raise taxes on the very people who they hope will give them jobs after graduation.

Way to go man! You're the future. Government has put the clamp down on broadcast media.

Advertising dollars are scarce. The only thing you hear in the media these days is what advertisers and/or government want you to hear.

I think UP CHUCK would be an appropriate name for the mayor.

Why doesn't anyone report that Shaheen paid $13,000 of the city's dollars to keep the post office open and he committed to two more years at over $20,000 per year, and guess what???? All without council's approval!! Jump on that part of the story that he left out of his "I kept the post office open all by myself" story.
