Palin Rocks, Can McCain Match Her?

By all accounts, Sarah Palin was awesome last night.  Some of the reactions:  "Simply stunning," "star-turning," "amazing, historic, epic," and a "grand slam home run."  Richard Viguerie, one of the leaders of the modern conservative movement, says that Palin is the "next Ronald Reagan."

The New York Times took the opportunity of a brilliant speech to say "yeah, the speech was good, but…"

Ann Coulter said of Palin that "the best man turned out to be a woman."

Clinton aides are reeling over the treatment of Sarah Palin.  I'm telling you, there will be a few of those women who come over to the McCain-Palin ticket because of her.

The liberal media is so nervous about Palin that they are trying to float the possibility of John McCain dumping her.

Here's another libertarian opinion on Sarah Palin.

An Alaskan tells us how Palin fought corruption in Alaska.

The Obama campaign had to defend The Messiah's past as a "community organizer."  Maybe they're finally realizing that it wasn't a real job (unlike mayor).

Joe Biden might have had his first slip yesterday, saying that an Obama administration might pursue criminal charges against President Bush.

The Democrats are probably going to kick Lieberman out of their caucus after his speech at the RNC Tuesday.

Depend on the Macon press to focus on the race of the Republican delegates and speakers.

As much as the Democrats talk about the miserable Bush economy, the Wall Street Journal points out that the Bush economy has been strong.

The price-gouging OPEC cartel might consider cutting production because oil prices are getting too low.

Saudi textbooks, including some used at Islamic schools in the United States, promote the killing of gays, Jews, and infidels.

Cochran Motor Speedway was shut down after the death of a woman there over the weekend.
