Palin Tonight!

How sexist are the left and their cohorts in the mainstream media?  Just look at their coverage of Sarah Palin and her need to be a mother instead of Vice President.  All of a sudden, the left are the sexist male chauvinists.

Pat Buchanan says that Sarah Palin was the ultimate risk-reward pick.

Michelle Malkin writes about the experience that Sarah Palin will have as a conservative woman in the eyes of the left and the mainstream media.

We will, of course, talk about the speeches last night at the RNC.  Admittedly, I missed President Bush's, but I caught Fred Thompson's and Joe Lieberman's.  Here's the NYT wrap.

Here are some juicy bits of the Republican platform, especially where they disagree with John McCain.

Phil Gramm is speaking truth again.  He said at a roundtable yesterday that the Republicans listening to him were not economically illiterate or whiners.

Here's a wrap on the Ron Paul counter-convention in Minneapolis.  He's not endorsing McCain; instead, he's considering endorsing third parties in general.  He wants "peaceful civil disobedience" to advocate for limited government.

The Wall Street Journal has an idea on why Obama isn't running away with this election.  They say it's because "American voters aren't sheep."

A Muslim woman quit her healthcare job in Great Britain because of their dress code that requires that providers be "bare below the elbows."

Here's something that should help some folks in Macon:  The British government is giving away guides on how to tell if your kid is in a gang.

Wars between Mexican drug cartels are increasingly spreading into the United States.

North Korea is rebuilding its nuclear program, in violation of an agreement with the United States.
