GOP Convention Kicks Off

A columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News says that if Obama loses there will be a "full-fledged race and class war."

The Messiah is already criticizing Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's lack of experience.

With McCain's pick of Palin, Hillary will have a larger part of the Obama campaign.

Here's a brilliant column about the dangers of big government.

Here's the libertarian case for Sarah Palin.

Palin has helped to close the "enthusiasm gap."  She's even been described as the girl of conservatives' dreams.

The big buzz over the holiday was that Sarah Palin's 17-year-old unmarried daughter is pregnant.  Apparently this has never been a secret in Palin's hometown.  The news brings into question whether the McCain campaign properly vetted Palin prior to the selection.

Immediately after the selection, Zogby showed McCain/Palin taking a two-point lead on Obama/Biden.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright is back.

The sun had no sunspots for the first month in a century.  It's the beginning of global cooling (or at least the end of the "global warming" scare).

Here's an analysis of Obama's new big-government spending proposals.

Ron Paul is having his own counter-convention in Minneapolis, criticizing the Republicans on Iraq and the explosion of government.

Anti-war protesters became violent at the GOP convention.  Aren't these hippies supposed to be all about peace and love?

Hollywood is having a bad summer.  They're making more money, but they're selling fewer tickets.  I'd call that price gouging.

Amy Winehouse could be brain-damaged from the drugs she's put in her system.  Isn't this kind of a chicken-or-egg situation?

The GOP needs to take the energy they had at the RNC, and use it to energize a new party and leadership. Otherwise, we can see the left-wing illuminati adding to their tabs for four more years.
