Death Panels in Britain

The British National Health Service is forcing patients with terminal illnesses to die prematurely by denying them treatment.  Just wait for that to show up here.

Apparently Obama's speech to Congress next week will lay out the specifics that the Administration wants in the nationalization of health care bill.  I wonder if he'll mention that the IRS will be the enforcer to make sure that you all get what they consider acceptable health insurance.

For anybody who thinks that more government in health care is going to cause more efficiency, a new inspector general's report shows that Medicare pays four times the suppliers' cost for wheelchairs.

The federal government could have stopped the wildfires in California from being as bad as they are, but environmentalists got in the way.

President Obama's speech to schoolchildren next week apparently is supposed to be about "the importance of [students] taking responsibility for their success in school."  If that's true then it's a message that is much needed.  I'm still waiting to see what the speech says.  The Department of Education has already revised the language asking students to think about how they can "help the President."

Clown Prince Vice President Joe Biden says that the "stimulus" package is working even faster than they expected it to work.  I'm still trying to figure out where any of those so-called "jobs" are.

Now George Will wants to leave Iraq too.  He was wrong on Afghanistan, and he's wrong on Iraq.

The United States is cutting off all non-humanitarian aid to Honduras over what the Obama administration calls a "coup."

The federal government is going to have to hire over 270,000 workers over the next three years.  These aren't soldiers; they're bureaucrats.

State Sen. Jeff Chapman (R-Brunswick) is running for Governor now.
